Pollack & Rosen was proud to be represented at one of Milwaukee’s most beloved traditions—the Milwaukee Brewers Sausage Race. On September 17th, Executive Vice President Greg Straub suited up as the Italian Sausage (#3) to participate in the iconic race at American Family Field.
While the Italian Sausage didn’t cross the finish line first, Greg reflected on the experience with enthusiasm: “What a fun experience. No, I did not win, but it was the spirit of the chase that mattered. And the amount of high fives along the crowd was glorious.”

A Milwaukee Tradition with a Meaningful Mission
The Milwaukee Brewers Sausage Race is more than just a fan-favorite mascot event—it helps drive awareness and participation in the annual Famous Racing Sausages 5K and 10K Run/Walk. This race supports the Brewers Community Foundation, which directs funds to nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin, with a special focus on health, education, recreation, and basic needs.
Proceeds from the race also benefit two important veterans-focused organizations: Fisher House Wisconsin and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. These groups provide critical support services to veterans and their families, from housing to healthcare and beyond.
